The Skiing
The spectacular Dolomiti Superski area is the largest ski domain in the world. It has much to offer skiers of all grades. The region is characterized by beautifully groomed pistes, a well organised and well maintained lift system, friendly locals, quaint villages and the most breathtaking scenery. Dotted throughout the region are characterful mountain bars and restaurants, some of which have Michelin stars, and are world famous for providing local delicacies such as fruit grappa. All these establishments are of such a high standard that we challenge you to find one that is less than excellent!
One of 40 villages in the Dolomiti Superski area, San Cassiano nestles in the heart of the Dolomites in its own region of Alta Badia, surrounded by the stunning limestone cliffs and towers, which change from grey-pink in the morning to rosy red in the late afternoon sunshine. One of the world’s unique and most memorable ski runs, the Hidden Valley, is close by. At the bottom of this beautiful run, you can be towed back towards San Cassiano by horse!
Inside Out Skiing's base is just three lifts away from the famous Sella Ronda which offers an amazing day’s ski around a group of stunning peaks, taking in Arabba and the nearby Marmolada glacier. From San Cassiano, a 40-minute ski brings you to Selva Val Gardena, with endless pistes to explore and the famous men's World Cup downhill course: the Saslong.

Coaching
The coaching provided by Inside Out Skiing will comprise six three-hour sessions. Depending on weather and group preferences these sessions will take place over four half days and one full day. The focus of the coaching will be to develop all areas of your ski technique, to improve piste performance and equip you with skills for skiing off-piste. To fully take advantage of the coaching we require at least a Level 6 standard of skiing.
During the week we will develop skills to help you ski steeper terrain, enabling you to change the size and shape of the turns you make by varying the way in which you steer your skis. We will work on being comfortable skiing at higher speeds by carving your turns, making clean changes of direction and balancing against the higher forces that are generated when we ski quickly. We will also work on the fundamentals of balance, coordination and varying the ways in which we turn our skis, providing you with a wider range of "tools in the toolbox" so you can cope with all mountain conditions.
Group size will be no more than eight per coach. We will make extensive use of video feedback, with analysis and review sessions held in our hotel in the evenings. These Clinics will be delivered by the same coaches who run Inside Out Skiing's programme at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, so you may already know them and they may already know your skiing, ensuring each clinic gets off to a flying start!
