If you are after a technically focussed piste performance improvement course using data from your Carv sensors coupled with coaches who know the slopes of Meribel & Courchevel Inside & Out this is the trip for you! You will be skiing in small (6 person max) coaching groups and staying with like-minded skiers looking to work on making lasting improvements to your technique as well as improving your Carv metrics. Your accommodation will be in charming chalets with sole use for our group, building a strong camp feel both on and off the mountain.​

- 6 day course length : Mon - Sat with 6 days of coaching up till lunch. In the afternoon you can practise on your own or with other group members to consolidate the skills learned from the days coaching sessions.
- Experienced coaches : With a mix of race coaching, performance skiing and instructor training backgrounds.
- Local knowledge : All coaches have 20+ seasons in Meribel and know the pistes and mountain restaurants extremely well.
- Daily Video feedback : On the mountain during breaks.

- Sunday Transfers : to avoid the typical Saturday transfer day traffic and enjoy skiing on quiet slopes during your last day.
- Low Season : Our camps are run during low season weeks in Les Trois Vallees with quieter than normal slopes.
- Flexible accommodation options : Half board chalet accommodation in shared room, single occupancy of a large double, or do your own thing and arrange your own and just join in the coaching.

Skiing Level : This holiday is suitable for early advanced L8 to early expert L10 level skiers with typical daily Carv Ski:IQ scores of around 120 and higher. Focussed coaching designed for skiers looking to refine their skills base and raise their skiing performance with extensive use of challenging drills.​​​​​ Check out our Levels Guidelines with video to check out where you are currently at.

Suggested Equipment : We recommend narrow waist piste performance skis with a turn radius of under 18M. Off piste skis, rockered skis or touring equipment are not best suited to get the most from this course.

Price supplements and additional costs
For twin occupancy, we will attempt to pair you with another participant (same gender). Please advise if there is a specific participant with whom you would like to share a room. If a roommate is unavailable by the time balance payments are due your accomodation will default to single occupancy and the price will increase accordingly.

Chalet Single Rooms £400 supplement to shared
We have a selection of single rooms with 2 being in the main chalet itself and 3 in a nearby overflow chalet only a few minutes walk away. Those in the overflow accommodation will take your meals at the main chalet, with the resort transfers departing from there.
Single room only bookings are taken on the basis that the final room type, bathroom configuration and location of accommodation will be dependant on numbers booked. Specific single rooms will be offered and assigned in order of booking when your balance payment is due.

Although we will be based in the Meribel valley we may ski in the other two of the Three valleys on one or more days to take advantage of the terrain. A six day full Three Valleys pass is required for this course and will be delivered to the chalet if you take advantage of our pre booking service. This price is inclusive of local Piste rescue insurance (Carre Neige)​
Equipment hire
We have negotiated great rates with our preferred rental shop if you need to hire ski equipment which will be delivered to the chalet for you. Contact us directly for prices as they vary depending on the level of ski equipment you require.

Minimum Numbers
Should the holiday have only 1 or 2 people attending we will run the course as an extended private session consisting of five days with the Carv metrics review being done at break times. With 3 or more the scheduled course hours will apply.​

Meribel, France is about two and a half hours from Geneva Airport and is at the heart of the Three Valleys, the world's largest ski area. A scenic town popular with the British, Meribel offers a vast range of skiing for all levels. As it is well linked with its sister resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens you will be able to ski new runs every day during your holiday, and never be bored with the endless terrain available.

Coaching
The teaching will be comprised of 6 days (9:00-1:00) of coaching during the course with video review done on the mountain during coffee breaks. After lunch you will have time to practice and consolidate the days coaching. We will get you on the mountain early on the first lifts so that we can ski the pistes in their best condition. Our resort transfer service runs a 4pm and 4:30pm pickup to give you time for a few runs after the coaching finishes to help consolidate the days learning. Our individual Carv metrics / video review sessions are done on the 3rd and 5th days during a pre-booked a 20 min slot with a coach. Typically done at the lift basestation in a picnic area from 3pm so you can catch your bus back to the chalet.
This holiday is suitable for level 8 and higher skiers with average daily Carv Ski:IQ scores of around 120 and higher. Focussed coaching designed for skiers looking to refine their skills base and raise their on piste carving performance and with extensive use of challenging drills with plenty of mileage to help consolidate the days learning.
We will work on individual metrics and skills. Our coaches complement the sensor feedback and identify root causes and prescribe drills and exercises. There can be many reasons why a score is not where you would like it to be and our role is to prioritise fixes based on 20 plus years of ski coaching experience. Hopefully Carv will show some improvements over the course of the week!
Group size will be no more than SIX per coach. We will have video analysis and review sessions each day ideally done on the mountain during breaks. We will upload all your videos to an individual cloud based folder for you to download and review.
Our accommodation is Chalet Grange á Charlotte, a lovely chalet located in the traditional hamlet of Meribel Les Allues. It sleeps up to 14 people in great comfort, featuring seven en-suite bedrooms (all with full size baths except one which has a shower).
It is a very comfortable and spacious chalet, with an open plan lounge/dining area, log fireplace and underfloor heating throughout. There are hair dryers in every bedroom, and a boot room with full size boot dryer/warmer for comfortable boots every day! There is free wifi internet access throughout the chalet. The highlight of the apres-ski facilities is a full size indoor hot tub.
We have an overflow chalet a short walk nearby for those desiring a single room, you will take your meals in main Chalet Grange á Charlotte and store your skis there. For those needing ski hire skis will be delivered to the chalet on arrival night.
Meribel Les Allues is a short journey from the centre of Meribel itself. Chalet staff will take you each morning to the main lifts in Meribel by private minibus, where you will meet the Inside Out Skiing coaches. At the end of each day we will agree a time and location for collection by the chalet staff, which could be Meribel or Meribel village, allowing for a different venue for apres-ski drinks before being taken back to the chalet. Alternatively, the free resort shuttle bus or Olympic bubble can be taken to and from the chalet should you wish to do your own thing.
Transfers to the resort
​Transfer to and from Geneva Airport is available by private minibus service. Please contact us to confirm transfer timings before you book your flights. As a rough guide look at flights arriving Geneva airport between 12:00-14:00 and no later than 15:30 on arrival day to ensure you arrive in time for dinner in the chalet. There may be a wait for others on different flights but our service is very reliable and well coordinated.
For the return journey please ensure your flight departs Geneva airport no earlier than noon.

Travel within the resort
The villages of Meribel Les Allues is approximately 10 minutes from the main Meribel lift complex. Our chalet staff are extremely helpful and use a private minibus to take you to the slopes each day where you will meet your coach. A time and pickup point is agreed each day for collection after skiing, allowing you the choice of apres-ski venues.
In addition to the chalet mini bus service there is also a free resort shuttle bus service to get you anywhere within the Meribel valley and taxis are plentiful if you desire a late night out.
